Below are the criteria we use when choosing sites to host a gardening class. If your property does not meet one or more of these criteria but there are overriding factors to consider, please mention them in the section below.

The property does not currently have a vegetable garden.

The garden location receives 6 to 8 hours of full sunlight (winter) and 8 to 10 hours full sunlight (summer).

The garden location has access to a nearby water faucet.

There is sufficient space around the garden location to comfortably fit 10 to 12 people who will be working with tools, wheelbarrows, gardening materials, etc.

You can provide bathroom access for class guests.

You own the property or can get written permission from your landlord.
