Dear Brothers & Sisters,

If Holy Resurrection is your home parish, please complete and return a membership form each year. This includes both contact information and a stewardship/pledge section.

Each year we ask our members to make a pledge to provide for the financial needs of running our parish. In doing so we are reminded that we are stewards of all that the Lord has provided for us. Secondly, giving of our resources is an act of faith and of our worship. By it we express that we not only recognize that everything comes from God, but that we believe God is in control of everything. We can give, because we have freely received. In striving to be good stewards, we ultimately know that God is the one who provides for our needs, and by giving we reinforce  our trust in His providential care for us. Finally, we know that the Lord receives every good thing we offer to Him from our hearts, and He blesses it and returns it back to us in manifold ways. One of the greatest returns we may receive is the cultivation of a giving heart, which is like our Lord’s.

“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.” (2 Cor. 8:9)
