Dates: 7/10-7/14
Time: 9 AM - 3 PM
Grades: 9th - 12th (Fall 2017)

Through this workshop, teenagers will get to explore new technologies and pursue their own design interests. They will have the opportunity to develop a project of their choosing while learning how to navigate, understand, and make use of new technologies to do so. We will provide the resources and guidance for students to take on a wide range of challenges; more advanced robotics, develop an internet of things device, create their own web application, learn to make custom circuit boards, create their own wearable device, or many other possibilities. With the help of various open-source technologies such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi, they will learn how powerful some of these resources can be and expand their own technical literacy and experience. Some prior experience with programming and engineering design required.
