Retreat 2019: Women of the Word
We are excited you can join us September 12-14, 2019, in Pigeon Forge, TN, as we seek to be women who run to our LORD and behold our Savior's face in every page of His written Word.

"You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore." Psalm 16:11

Food
Dinner is provided on Thursday, breakfast and dinner on Friday, and breakfast on Saturday. While we desire to accommodate all dietary restrictions, this can be a difficult task with 60 people in attendance. Please show us grace in the matter of food preferences and allergies. We will carefully mark all items, so that you will know what you can and cannot eat. Please consider whether you need to bring meal supplements in cases of strict allergies or restrictions.
Please list any food allergies or strict dietary restrictions:

Housing
Our goal with the women's retreat always has been to find a homey place where we can be together. (As opposed to renting hotel rooms.) Similar to previous years, we have booked several large neighboring houses. This means we have the space to ourselves with plenty of opportunity for gathering and fellowship. However, that also means that each bedroom is a little different. So, as always, we appreciate your flexibility and grace with room assignments.

Prices are based on the number of people to a room. We'll do our best to accommodate everyone's preferred roommate(s) wishes, but again - due to the unique nature of the houses - we do the final assignments based on what works best for the whole group. Thank you for your flexibility!

There are (4) Room Options:
Single Room (1 person in 1 room): $350
Double Room (2 people in 1 room, sharing 1 king sized bed): $265
Shared Room: Bed or Bunk (3+ people in 1 room, shared king beds or bunk beds): $235
Shared Room: Futon (3+ people in 1 room, individual queen futon bed): $225

Shared beds are king sized, futons are queen sized
We have a limited number of each type of room.

Scholarships for EPC Members and Attenders
We want to first thank you to the leadership of East Point Church for subsidizing the OVERALL cost of the retreat, so that we can keep prices as low as possible for ALL attending the retreat.

In addition to this subsidy, we have established a small scholarship fund for EPC members and attenders. Due to the size of the fund, we cannot promise the availability of scholarships to all who apply nor can we offer full scholarships.

I would like to request a scholarship. *

Prayer
THE MOST IMPORTANT NEED we have for the retreat is PRAYER!

We covet your prayers and ask each and every one of you to join us in praying for the retreat - for wisdom, discernment, and good stewardship for the planning committee; for safe travels; for the speaker as she prepares and delivers her messages; and for our hearts to be open and humble as we study the Word of God.

We also beseech you to join us in praying that the words of Colossians 3:12-17 might be true of our body, as we gather together in the mountains of Tennessee:

"Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other, as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." Amen!

And please let us know how we - the retreat planning committees - might be praying for you.
