Volunteer Information
Q: What will I be doing as a volunteer?
A: Volunteers during the week (Monday – Friday) will assist with normal operations which could include anything from: planting, watering, weeding, and transplanting.

Q: Do I need to have a green-thumb to be a volunteer?
A: No, our staff will work alongside with you to ensure you are able to learn and feel comfortable to the task which you are assigned to.

Q: Do I need to bring my own tools and gloves?
A: No, we will provide all the tools and work-gloved you need however, please bring your own re-usable water bottle, and sun protection.

Q: What is the appropriate volunteer attire?
A: Close-toed shoes are a must! Long pants and long sleeves are recommended to protect you against prickly weeds and the sun; Hiking/outdoor sports clothing or work-out attire will work well. Please come prepared for the sun with sun-screen, sunglasses and hats.

Q: Will my volunteer time count toward community service hours?
A: Yes, we are happy to sign off on community service hours.
