DFL Rural Caucus Resolution Survey
The DFL Rural Caucus Resolutions/Policy Committee is conducting a survey to identify the issues for resolutions deemed most important to our communities. We invite you to submit resolutions using this survey form and commit to attending your local caucus on February 3, 2026.

Deadline to return this form is December 14th.

What does it take for a resolution to be successful and be added to the DFL Platform and Action Agenda?  Resolutions having support from at least five Organizing Units drawn from at least two Congressional Districts may be selected for consideration at the State Convention (for inclusion in the DFL Ongoing Platform or Action Agenda).

Once resolutions are submitted, our committee will identify the top resolutions to forward to our membership for submission at your local caucuses on February 3, 2026.  The online form below is modeled after the official DFL Resolutions form.  The Final resolution form will be emailed in the DFL Resolutions Form in time for your Caucus.  These resolutions can be printed off and brought forward on caucus night.

Please fill out the attached survey with up to 5 suggested resolutions.  If you wish to submit more, you will need to fill out a 2nd form.

A sample resolution from 2024 is found on the next page.

Instructions:
1. Identify the category of your resolution from the drop down menu.
2.  What is your resolution title:  5 words only.
3. Write your resolutions.  Length should be between: 140-280 characters. Be concise and use everyday language.
4. You may include a brief explanation of your two or three strongest supportive points.

Please review the MN DFL Platform and Action Agenda prior to submission as you consider your resolutions and any needed updates to the current Platform and Action Agenda.
