2018 FRNY Blue Line Run
DUE TO OVERWHELMING RESPONSE, REGISTRATION FOR THE BLUE LINE RUN IS CLOSED. WE'LL ONLY BE ACCEPTING NEW SIGNUPS FROM CURRENT PAID FRNY MEMBERS. UNFORTUNATELY, BECAUSE OF SAFETY AND PERMITTING CONCERNS, WE CANNOT PROVIDE BAG TRANSPORT, ON-COURSE SUPPORT, OR POST-RUN REFRESHMENTS TO NON-REGISTRANTS.
The Front Runners New York Blue Line Run (BLR) is a long training run for the New York City Marathon that FRNY has organized for many years. This is a FREE EVENT and open to all Front Runners and our friends in other local running clubs.
The run covers the final 20 miles of the TCS New York City Marathon, providing a course-specific experience to prepare you for the race. While on your multi-borough journey, you will be supported by fluid stations featuring Gatorade, water, and a selection of gels. Bag transportation will be provided at the start to bring your bags safely to the finish in Central Park. Pacers will be provided ranging from 7:00 to 13:00+ mile pace. If you're not familiar with the course, don't worry -- we'll have teams of bike marshals to keep you on the right track.
Non-Front Runners will be required to sign an electronic waiver below.
