Help Us Get Justice for Kirby & Quigley by Ending Animal Cruelty!
Companion animals are an important part of the lives of many New Yorkers, but sadly, some people do not have the same love and respect for animals that we do. Kirby and Quigley, two sweet dogs, became the victims of burglars who broke into their family’s home. They were purposely killed by the criminals. Stories like this break our collective hearts.

Please help us get justice for Kirby and Quigley, and all other victimized companion animals, by signing our petition and telling Speaker Carl Heastie to support and pass “Kirby and Quigley’s Law," A.1596/S.2936. This measure, sponsored by Assemblyman Jim Tedisco, Senator Phil Boyle and Senator George Amedore, would expand the definition of aggravated cruelty to animals under Buster’s Law to include harming animals during the commission of another felony. The bill has already passed the Senate 59 to 1; it’s time for the Assembly to act.

Yes, I support “Kirby & Quigley’s Law." Please pass this important measure now!
