The Afghanistan International Business Council (AIBC) was established by
a collective of Afghan business proprietors, advocates, and professionals to
function as an umbrella organization for Afghan-owned enterprises on a global
scale. Its objective is to unify these entities and enhance their collective
voice to promote sustainable economic growth and collaboration, which may
ultimately contribute to Afghanistan's economic development and the advancement
of Afghan businesses both domestically and internationally. AIBC is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, and non-governmental entity based in Washington, D.C.
AIBC's
Mission:
The
Afghanistan International Business Council (AIBC) unites and amplifies the
efforts of Afghan businesses and business councils worldwide. We strive to:
- Engage
and mobilize business leaders to invest in Afghanistan’s economic future.
- Represent
the Afghan private sector at national and international policy-making
tables.
- Advocate
for inclusive economic policies and create a permanent space for AIBC in
policy dialogues.
- Serve
as an umbrella platform for coordination, collaboration, and
resilience-building across all Afghan business entities.
AIBC
welcomes as members:
- Entrepreneurs
and business owners of Afghan descent.
- Business
professionals working in or supporting Afghan-owned enterprises.
- Organizations
or companies with an interest in Afghan economic development.

and advocates committed to AIBC’s mission.
Members
are entitled to:

to exclusive networking events, regional chapters, and virtual business
forums.

- Voting
rights in the General Assembly (for active, paid members).
