Campus Compass Supporter/Mentor 2 Supporter/Mentor Form 2024-2025

Are you ready to lead and inspire? Otterbein University invites you to join the Campus Compass Supporter/Mentor Program, a unique opportunity for junior and senior students to support and guide their peers toward academic and personal success. As a supporter/mentor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the futures of younger students by sharing your insights, experiences, and wisdom.

Why should you join? By participating, you enhance your leadership and coaching skills and earn a financial stipend at the end of the academic year as a token of appreciation for your dedication and impact. The stipend is designed to reward your commitment; it is staggered and increases depending on the number of mentees you mentor throughout the year. Here's how it works:

  • 2 Achievers/mentees: You'll receive a basic stipend, acknowledging your role in supporting a manageable group.
  • 3-4 Achievers/mentees: The stipend increases as you expand your influence and dedicate more time to mentoring.
  • Five or more Achievers/mentees: Earn the highest stipend tier, reflecting your significant commitment and your broad impact on our student community.

As part of the Campus Compass Support Program at Otterbein University, not only will you serve as a Supporter/Mentor to first-year and second-year students, guiding them through their academic and personal challenges, but you will also have the unique opportunity to be supported/mentored by experienced alumni and distinguished members of the community. This dual support/mentorship structure is designed to provide you with comprehensive support and development opportunities, ensuring that you grow as much as you help others grow.
