NEA Attending Teacher Exploration/Application Form 2018-2019
Thank you for your interest in The Classroom Academy: A Residency Model for Teacher Preparation.

As part of the NEA Great Public Schools grant, the three sites, (Cambridge, Hudson Falls, and WSWHE BOCES) will identify up to three Attending Teachers to partner with SUNY Plattsburgh @ Queensbury Teacher Residents. This expanded professional experience will prepare the residents to transition into their classrooms with their students, once they complete the program and are NYS certified. In addition, it will bring new research, pedagogy, and rich professional discussions to the Attending teacher. Teacher residents will be matched with Attending Teachers based on the process; including the resident application, attending teacher application, interviews, and certification areas. Recruitment may occur for specific certification areas based on need.

The stipend for this position is $4,500 per year and paid through WSWHE BOCES.
