Trail Time: Winter Ultra and Adventure Race Survey
You are being asked to take part in a research study about motivations for participating in winter ultra and adventure races in high latitude places. The goal of this study is to learn more about how ultra and adventure racers perceive their participation in regard to place and climate. You are being asked to take part in this study because you ski, run, bike or skijor in the mountains in winter, and have signed up for an ultra or adventure race. An ultra or adventure race is defined here as a human-powered event longer than a traditional marathon (26.2 miles, 42.2 kms), like the Susitna 100, Chena River to Ridge, Iditarod Trail Invitational, Alaska Mountain Wilderness Ski Classic, White Mountains 100, and so many more awesome events!!

Disclaimer: This survey is optional, and you can skip any questions you don’t want to answer. Note especially that although we ask for your name (so we can track responses over time), your survey responses will remain anonymous. Likewise, you must be 18 years or older to participate.
