This camp will explore many different aspects of making, including physical computing, computer-assisted design (CAD), and know-how for constructing with different kinds of materials, including cardboard and duct tape. Our featured technology this summer will be the micro:bit, a small programmable computer with built-in sensors. Micro:bits can be used to create interactive displays or simple games, and they can also be combined with lights, buzzers, or buttons to create all kinds of playful, physical creations. At the end of the three days, your child will be able to take his or her Micro:bit home, along with an assortment of electronic accessories, so that he or she can continue creating for the rest of the summer and beyond.
We hope to see you there!
