Join MRHI with special guests Park County Search & Rescue (PCSAR) on Sunday, January 14th, 9:30 am - 1:30 pm, for an avalanche education workshop at Alma Town Hall. The program will combine an indoor presentation based on CAIC's avalanche education tips, tools and techniques, followed by hands-on outdoor practice on Hoosier Pass for those interested. FREE, BUT DONATIONS GREATLY APPRECIATED.
Required equipment: Snowshoes, cross country, AT, tele skis or splitboard. If you have them, bring your transceiver, shovel and/or probe to get expert coaching and practice.
