Washington Street Pilot: Public Feedback Survey

Thank you for participating in the Washington Street Project Survey. This survey will gather your opinions and usage data regarding the recent changes on Washington St between Chestnut Street and Lowell Avenue (Washington Street project). It should take less than 10 minutes to complete.

The survey is run by the Newtonville Area Council to gather opinions from people impacted by the project. Results will be shared with the City Council and project committee.

The Washington street project (city website) is described in the Newton Walk, Roll, and Bike Network Plan as part of a wider strategy that aligns with the Newton 2040: A Transportation Strategy for Newton from 2017.

The Washington Street Pilot Website notes the following changes:

  • Shared use bike path construction

  • Cross walk changes

  • Street parking changes

  • Changes to bus access

  • Changes to street layout to reduce congestion

Note: This is an online survey and email address is a technical requirement of google which limits the respondents to a single response, helping to avoid robot survey respondents.
