Membership information

Article IV Membership and Voting Privileges : Section 1 Membership.

1. Board members (Board of Directors) of the Foundation are acknowledged nurse scientists or clinical practitioners in the USA, are in good moral and ethical standing, and pay membership fees.

2. General members are those who support the mission of the GKNF-USA, are in good moral and ethical standing, and pay membership fees.

3. Student members are those who support the mission of the GKNF-USA, are in good moral and ethical standing, and pay membership fees.

4. The GKNF-USA membership is based on the calendar year, a one-year period beginning on January 1 and ending on December 31.

5. All members who do not pay their annual membership fee between January 1 and January 31 will retain active status for the following six-months. If they do not renew their membership by the end of a six-month grace period, their membership status will be automatically terminated.

Student Member ($50/year): Students study nursing or relevant health program in the US. Student membership includes the voting privilege of general members. Student members will get all newsletters, notices, and reduced prices for Annual Conference or Workshops. Student members are eligible to apply for the GKNF Scholarship. Student members will be listed in the searchable Student Membership Directory of the GKNF-USA website. The dues of the student members shall be $50 per annum.

General Member ($100/year): Nursing or Non-nursing scholars or clinicians who support the mission of the GKNF-USA are in good moral and ethical standing. General members may vote on matters of the Foundation when proposed by the Board members at the annual meeting. General members will get all newsletters, notices, and reduced prices for Annual Conference or Workshops. General members will be listed in the searchable General Membership Directory of the GKNF-USA website. The dues of the general members shall be $100 per annum.

Board of Directors ($500/year): Board members of the Foundation are acknowledged nurse scientists or clinical practitioners in the US, and the Board of Directors shall elect them. Unless otherwise indicated by the Board, all matters of the Foundation will be decided by the vote of the Board of Directors. The dues of the Board member shall be a minimum of $500 per annum.

Lifetime General Member ($1,000): Nursing or Non-nursing scholars or clinicians who support the mission of the GKNF-USA are in good moral and ethical standing. Lifetime general members may vote on matters of the Foundation when proposed by the Board members at the annual meeting. General members will get all newsletters, notices, and reduced prices for Annual Conference or Workshops.

Institutional Member ($1,000): Sponsors are those who have donated a minimum of $1,000

Senior Member ($10,000): Sponsors are those who have donated a minimum of $10,000

Founding Member ($50,000): Sponsors are those who have donated a minimum of $50,000
