  • Girls for Gender Equity (GGE) works intergenerationally, through a Black feminist lens, to center the leadership of Black girls and gender-expansive young people of color in reshaping culture and policy through advocacy, youth-centered programming, and narrative shift to achieve gender and racial justice.
✨Program Overview: Young Women's Advisory Council (YWAC)✨
  • The Young Women's Advisory Council (YWAC) is a civic engagement program for a cohort of young people ages 16-24 centering the leadership of cis and trans girls, and gender-expansive youth of color, who are committed to developing as racial and gender justice experts. Through innovative curriculum, youth organizing and civic engagement, YWAC participants are transformed into change agents who help to drive, support and shape GGE's local and state policy work and campaigns.

YWAC is a 2 day/week program from October 2026-June 2027. Meetings are in person on Monday and Tuesday evenings from 4:30PM-6:30PM. Are you available to meet during these times?
