Date: Friday-Saturday, October 12-13, 2018
Technology Demonstration (50 minutes): The focus is on how technology can be used to enhance language instruction. Presenters share and demonstrate materials they have developed and give tips to others. A computer classroom is available upon request.
Research Paper (20 minutes): The presenter summarizes personal research findings on a wide range of TESOL related topics. The paper is not read but presented as a teacher might teach a class using notes while describing and discussing what s/he has done or discovered. It can include handouts and visual aids. A question and answer discussion ends the presentation.
Round Table Discussion (50 minutes): Presenter serves as moderator, introducing a topic related to the conference theme along with background information. S/he does not present the information but facilitates an informal discussion about the topic among the attendees.
Poster Presentation (40 minutes): The presenter summarizes research through a combination of text and graphics on a poster display, informally interacting with interested conference participants during scheduled poster session.
