Young Achievers Award
The Young Achievers Awards aim to encourage and promote the positive achievements of past students of St Margaret’s and Berwick Grammar School, under the age of 30. The awards will acknowledge the achievements of one past student in each of the following categories – Community and Social Responsibility, Sport, Science and Innovation and Creative and Performing Arts.

------------------------------------------------------------------ Categories -----------------------------------------------------------------

Community and Social Responsibility
Tenacity, dedication, passion, selflessness and confidence are the key qualities of our amazing young past students who will be the leaders and driving force in our community. They may have implemented change within their community group, studies or organisation that has altered the way people think and perform for the better. These young achievers offer friendship, hope, education, support and inspiration to those who need it most.

Today's young athletes are tomorrow's sporting heroes. They are dedicated young people with a strong spirit of competition and love of sport. Whether it's competing, coaching, administration or education, the school seeks to applaud their talents and recognise their commitment in the pursuit of excellence.

Science and Innovation
Scientific discoveries have the power to make a real life impact on a personal, community and economic level. Similarly, our society is continuously being shaped by new innovations and powerful business solutions. This award recognises those past students who are embarking upon ventures in the fast-paced, highly competitive and success-driven environments of business and science.

Creative and Performing Arts
In one way or another, all aspects of our lives are touched by the Creative and Performing Arts. Young people are often leading the way in fashion, design, textiles visual and dramatic art, music and dance. This award recognises those who strive for excellence and success.
