The Central Iowa Alumnae Panhellenic Association enlists the assistance of local alumnae in identifying young women who have the potential for making a positive contribution to a collegiate chapter of a National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) organization. Alumnae can make a difference by providing chapters with information about prospective members.
Our recruitment recommendation request form will allow you to submit as much information as you choose to expand on your accomplishments. The Central Iowa Alumnae Panhellenic Association distributes your completed form to alumnae sorority representatives in the central Iowa area. The information you supply may be used by alumnae to write introductions, references, or recommendations on your behalf. Submitting the Recruitment Recommendation Request Form does not guarantee an introduction, reference, or recommendation.
In addition to completing the Central Iowa Alumnae Panhellenic Association Recruitment Recommendation Request Form, ask the women you already know to write a letter of recommendation. Older relatives, neighbors, teachers, and members of your local religious community may be members of a sorority and you didn’t know it! Let them know that you will be going through recruitment in college and you would appreciate their providing a letter of recommendation. Even if the women you contact are not in a sorority themselves, they may know others who are.
The potential new member is responsible for registering for recruitment at her campus. Most important is your recruitment experience and finding a place that you feel fits you best, regardless of your prior connections or recommendations.
A potential new member who plans to participate in sorority recruitment or an NPC alumna may complete the form.
