Club Rules:

(a) Members will not behave in such a way as to damage the reputation of the Club
(b) Members will observe the normal rules of the road when riding on the public highway and will at all times ride with consideration for others both on and off road (particularly walkers and horse-riders)
(c) Members are responsible for ensuring that their cycles are roadworthy and should carry some form of personal identification and emergency contact details with them when taking part in Club events.
(d) Members and guests must wear a cycle safety helmet for all Club rides.
(e) Members participating in Club rides must abide by ‘Winchcombe Cycling Club – Rules for Club Rides’.
(f) Members under the age of 18 must abide by the Club’s ‘Under 18 Policy’, and those aged 15 or under and vulnerable adults must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or a responsible adult nominated by them.

I acknowledge that those guiding Club rides are only doing so for purposes of navigation and are not qualified nor are holding themselves out as qualified to judge the suitability of the route for a rider of my ability or for the cycle and other equipment which I am using. It is my responsibility to ride within my own capabilities at all times and to be responsible for my own well-being and for the suitability and condition of the cycle and other equipment which I am using

Neither the Club nor its officers shall be liable for any personal injury, death, or property damage sustained by me whilst involved with Club activities, except insofar as it can be shown that this has arisen from the wilful act, neglect or default of the Club or its officers. I acknowledge and agree that my membership of the Club does not create any relationship between me and the Club or its officers such as might give rise to rights of action for personal injury, death or property damage beyond those identified in the preceding sentence. I further acknowledge and agree that members of the Club are not employees, agents or other representatives of the Club and that therefore I cannot and will not seek to hold the Club or its officers liable for the actions of other members
