Celebrate the
75th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by walking/riding in the UI Homecoming Parade with the
Johnson County United Nations Association. All welcome!
The parade is on Friday, October 25th.
All participants are required to arrive at our staging area by 5:00pm. (Parade starts at 5:45PM.)
Our entry number is 73 and we will be gathering at the
Northwest corner of College Green Park (corner of Washington and Johnson). Anyone in an orange vest can direct you to number 73.
Please complete this quick form to let us know that you will be walking/riding with us.
- Please feel free to bring family or friends (If friends will need to ride in a vehicle, please let me know by Wednesday, October 23 to make sure that we have enough space: Email meredith-gall@uiowa.edu.)
- Some signs, a banner, and small flags will be available for carrying.
- If possible, please wear a blue shirt or jacket. (Blue is the color of the United Nations.)
- Families are welcome. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
- With the exceptions of service animals, please do not bring an animal.
