No prior knowledge

Beginner-Level 1, knows alphabet, numbers 1-30, read simple words, short sentences.

Beginner-Level 2, can write short sentences, read multiple sentences with simple words/phrases, can greet, introduce self.

Intermediate-has had lessons in the past, spoken Greek with family/friends, but needs a refresh and strengthening of conversative and written dialogue. Reading at this level means someone can read a full paragraph and explain what the definition of the terms are and how to respond in a non-native level

Advanced-near native understanding of the Greek language. Can engage in dialogue with strong interpretive skills, descriptive language and able to write at a progressed level of understanding.

Verbal understanding only, no reading/written skill
