Saturday, May 13 • 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
Lehman College • 250 Bedford Park Boulevard West

Celebrate International Compost Awareness Week with the New York City Compost Project! Lehman College is opening their gates and offering public access to their compost operation. Registered attendees will be able to shovel and bag free compost to take home along with other goodies, while supplies last. The bagged materials are available to those who intend to use the compost in public spaces such as community gardens and farms, on NYC school property, NYC parks, and for use on NYC street trees

Come and see how this institution manages the organic waste generated on their grounds and in the cafeteria!

Fill out this form if you plan to attend. Walk-ins are welcome but may not be eligible to receive free compost.
