TAILS & TALES: (Jan 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27 - 1,500,000VND) - OPEN FOR REGISTRATION
• For children ages 3-5
• Focus: Stories with animal characters, developing oral language and English vocabulary through listening and speaking activities, extension activities with related topics
• Aims: To create meaningful opportunities for young children to develop skills and confidence in listening and speaking; to build children's background knowledge to support English language comprehension; to develop concepts of print and story elements
• Each course offers a different story set:
- Tails & Tales 1: Counting & Colors with Pete the Cat
- Tails & Tales 2: Animal Adventures
- Tails & Tales 3: Tales of Three
SOUND IT OUT: (Jan 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 24, 26 - 1,750,000VND) - OPEN FOR REGISTRATION
• For children ages 3-5
• Focus: Phonemic awareness (based on Sounds First - Pre-K Curriculum); word sorts using Zoo Phonics animals (e.g. syllables, rhyming pairs); oral blending of VC and CVC words
• Aims: Students will practice letter sounds with Zoo Phonics, Reading Buddies, and other alphabet resources; develop phonological sensitivity through listening/speaking activities; practice oral blending of VC and CVC words
ART ADVENTURES: (Jan 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27 - 1,500,000VND) - OPEN FOR REGISTRATION
• For children ages 3-5
• Focus: Drawing and painting techniques, using a variety of art materials
• Aims: Students will experiment with a variety of 2-D art techniques and materials and have opportunities to express themselves through drawing, painting, and speaking about artwork
MATH4KIDS (Holiday Fun) - COMPLETED
• For children ages 3-5 (especially those on the pathway to English-only international education)
• Focus: Counting and cardinality 0-10, learning how to add (compose) and subtract (decompose) numbers, working with patterns, shapes, and classification, developing mathematical thinking and communication.
• Aims: To support the development of young children's number sense, problem-solving, and mathematical language; build an early love of math; and have fun with math!
ANIMALS A-Z: (3 sessions per week) - COMPLETED
• For children ages 3-5 who love animals (both native English-speakers and EAL learners)
• Focus: English vocabulary, science, and geography through the topic of ANIMALS
• Aims: To support young children's understanding of the alphabetic principle (letter sounds, phoneme isolation), oral language development (speaking, listening, vocabulary), and building background knowledge about the world (land/water, continents, animal needs, habitats)
• This program supports the Sustainable Development Goals #14 (Life Below Water) and #15 (Life On Land), as the children will learn about a wide range of animals and their needs and natural habitats. Letter sound instruction is based on Zoo Phonics:
