Welcome to Congressman James Gallagher's Summer Kids Art Competition!

Kids ages 5–17 who live in California's First Congressional District are invited to submit original artwork that celebrates the North State and what makes our communities special.

One winner will be selected from each of the following counties: Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Shasta, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama, and Yuba. The winning artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building!

Submission deadline: August 7, 2026.
