Video Editor: Crash Course
The educational video landscape is a constantly expanding puzzle that asks: how to help people learn while keeping them engaged. Our editors are essential to putting that puzzle together for millions of learners all over the world. Are you a video editor who can join our team in creating engaging, accurate, and accessible educational content?

At Complexly, we make videos that help our audiences develop a nuanced and complex view of the world around us. Crash Course, one of our flagship channels with over 10 million subscribers, invites students, teachers, and lifelong learners to understand subjects they might have had trouble with or are curious to learn more about.

As Crash Course's video editor, you will oversee the post-production process, starting with the first cut and carrying the video all the way to comment moderation. You should feel comfortable with multiple responsibilities, such as gathering assets from our animation team & sound designer, coordinating with our business partners, verifying the accuracy of our information, uploading the episode to YouTube, and keeping an eye on comments. Through it all, you communicate thoughtfully with our animation team, business partners, hosts, and audience. Our video edits need to be simple and clear; it's essential that you understand the language of digital video and value online communities, especially in the educational space. You should feel excited and proud to help people learn no matter where or who they are. Adaptability to adjust your work to serve audiences in different cultures and languages is ideal.

If you think you're up for the task, apply for this position by Sunday, December 22nd!
