For Mentors and Volunteers
Every CHILD is a STEM child; Every SPACE is a STEM space. STEM is EVERYWHERE.
Join us as WIBCA presents a free mentor-based Robotics Club that will inspire young Black students between ages 9 and 19 to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), ventures, and projects. The Robotics Club will prepare its students to become innovative leaders who will develop critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills. Our students will learn how to build robots, compete in tournaments, learn computer programming, and use various software. In addition, they will have opportunities to explore art initiatives through website design, 3D printing, and much more. Volunteers and mentors will have the opportunity to contribute and learn by sharing their specialized skills and working with each other and the youth.
