RELEASE OF LIABILITY

The Stevens County Agricultural Society (SCAS) assumes no responsibility for the suitability of  equipment for any particular condition or the success/failure/treatment/therapy performed with the equipment.  I hereby release the Stevens County Agricultural Society from any liability for damages/injuries/or claims that may result from the use of the equipment.  I will report any damage, accident, or any personal injury or any injury to another person as a result of the operation of the rental equipment to SCAS Board Member as soon as possible in person or by phone at (320) 589-1062.  Failure to do so may result in fines or prosecution based upon city and state laws.


Damage Insurance:  Damage insurance only covers any damage done to the rental equipment as long as all the rules are followed by the renter as stated in the below agreement.  Lost or stolen equipment is not covered.


Rental Agreement:

  • I agree that the scooter has been examined and is in good condition at time of check out.

  • I agree the scooter remains the property of Stevens County Agricultural Society.

  • I will not operate the scooter while under the influence of drugs or alcohol or drive recklessly while on the scooter. The scooter will NOT leave the Stevens County Fairgrounds.

  • I agree to yield to walking pedestrians, and follow all the rules of the event.

  • I am at least 18 years of age and do not exceed 500 lb. weight limit.

  • I will return the scooter by the specified return time as stated in this rental agreement.  

  • I will not allow any additional rider(s) or passenger(s) on the scooter while in my possession.


Repossession:  If at any time the rules and/or agreement as stated above are not followed, Stevens County Agricultural Society reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove the rental unit(s) at any time regardless of length of rental.
