Synod Vendor Account Set-up
To our Dear Partners in Ministry,

We are very excited to announce that as part of our transition to Insero & Co, CPAs, LLP for all Upstate New York accounting, we are moving to Bill.com, a secure, user-friendly online tool, to process all synod payments. We are pleased to be able to offer this resource to you and to begin the process of getting you set up future payments from the Upstate New York Synod. We ask that you follow the instructions below to complete this initial form by November 2021, to ensure you are set up for our switch-over date.

All service providers or individuals receiving payment from the synod will also need to have a W9 on file. You may have completed this form during our initial partnership. To ensure that your current form is on file, we are mailing each service provider that we have on file a printed W9 form and ask that you please complete a new W9 (https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf) and send it back to us in the included self-addressed envelope. All W9 forms can be mailed to Upstate New York Synod, Attn: Michelle Josephson, PO Box 160, Syracuse, NY 13214 and are kept confidential.

Please remember, if you receive any type of payment from the synod, we ask that you complete both the online contact information form and a W9. Once gathered, we will use the email address provided to send out the invitation link to set up your account for all future payments once we move over to this new system. As part of the invitation, you will have the option of selecting payment by check or electronic fund transfer.

We look forward to our continued partnerships and to working with you as we set up this new, secure system to ensure that timely and accurate payments of invoices take place for you, our valued service providers. Any service provider on file at the synod office will receive a letter the week of October 4th with a form and self-addressed, stamped envelope to return this form in. If you do not receive a letter, it may be that we do not have your current mailing address on file. Please still submit this online contact form and mail your completed W9 to the office.
