We are excited to have you join our team of mentors! This year, the New Haven Science Fair will take place on May 13, 2025 at 101 College Street
. We cannot do this work without you, and we are excited to have you share your STEM skills with New Haven public school students!
About the Mentor role:
- The mentor program will run from November 2024 through April 2025.
- Mentors will receive an orientation before starting — no prior experience needed!
- Mentors are assigned to K-12 classrooms
- Mentors can volunteer for either 1) one hour per week, or 2) on specific dates/times.
- Mentors will assist teachers and students during the school day, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
- Mentors will work with students to help develop projects and practice presentation skills.
