Are you a new generation Black artist looking to expand your skills in theatre creation and production? The Black Theatre School is offering a 9-month professional theatre training pilot program dedicated to nurturing emerging Black theatre practitioners across multiple disciplines.
The Black Theatre School provides a decolonial, immersive, and interdisciplinary training ground where Black aesthetics, world-building, and embodied learning techniques take center stage.

Please Note that the selection process for enrolment in the Black Theatre School 9-month Pilot Program will take place in-person through ensemble building activities and interviews to be conducted on March 29 & 30 in Tkaronto, Ontario from 10am-6pm EST. Practitioners are required to be present during the selection process in order to be considered for enrolment. Practitioners must be 18+ to apply.
