JFREJ Homebase: Request for Support
JFREJ Homebase is a remote, member-run system to ensure that our members get home safe from protests and have their emergency contacts alerted if we haven't heard from them. At this time, it does not include jail support if our members are arrested. We invite you to sign up for Homebase support if you are attending an action on Tuesday, April 20th and/or Wednesday, April 21, 2021.

WHEN NOT TO SIGN UP FOR HOMEBASE: If you are a JFREJ member attending a protest, we urge you to find a buddy to go with you so that you do not go out alone. Your buddy should keep tabs on you and make sure you get home safe. If you go out with a buddy or in a group, we ask that you don't sign up for Homebase support and try to take care of each other!

WHEN TO SIGN UP FOR HOMEBASE: We invite you to sign up for Homebase support if you are unable to find a protest buddy, and you hold a marginalized identity that puts you at greater risk of escalated encounters with police. We also ask that you only sign up if you have concrete plans to go out to a protest before 10pm, because our member volunteers are waiting up for you! If you meet these criteria, we will be happy to provide you with homebase support.

Once you fill out this form, please download Signal so that we can reach you and get additional information to support you.

NOTE: Please do not fill out this form after 10pm. That is when our day's Coordinator will stop checking responses.
