How It Works:

This is a unique opportunity for students to collaborate with startup founders, helping them execute their Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies. You’ll work on tasks designed to get their products into the hands of users, providing you with hands-on experience in a real startup environment. Through this process, you’ll gain valuable insights into how startups develop and implement growth strategies, which you can apply when you launch your own venture. Additionally, there’s the potential to receive return offers, allowing you to continue working with the startup after college or in future semesters. Most opportunities we have will be virtual. Our job is to connect you with the startups based on the information that you provide us with. They each have their own needs for each project

What You Will Learn:

  • Market Penetration Strategies: Understand different approaches to entering and scaling within a market.
  • Customer Acquisition: Learn how startups identify and attract their target audience.
  • Product Positioning: Work on refining the messaging that helps a product stand out in a competitive landscape.
  • Sales and Marketing Tactics: Get hands-on experience with sales funnels, marketing campaigns, and other tactics used to reach customers.

Cost:

Completely free for students.

Who Are We?

We are two university students at UT Dallas named Gavin Thomas and BJ Anderson who have a podcast called Founders Ascent. We have talked with dozens of founders and have accumulated a vast network over the past two years.
