Hey Parents,

We are less than a week away from Soccer Clinic 2020! We are so excited to be able to provide this opportunity for your kids. As we proceed we will keep an eye on things and our state requirements regarding the ongoing virus situation and will keep you updated if there are any changes.

We are excited to see so many kids be able to participate in this year's clinic. However, due to the high number of participants, we will have to make a few adjustments to stay in line with state guidelines. We will be dividing the kids into two groups, (Group A and Group B) You can see the attachment below in regards to which group your child is in. Group A will participate in Soccer clinic 2020 on Monday and Wednesday, and Group B will participate on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday evening we will have a special drive-through celebration! See below for more details on Victory Night.

We will be following state regulations and guidelines. Here is a summary of the regulations that you and your children need to be aware of:

All volunteers will wear face coverings during Soccer Clinic.

State guidelines for kids-Ensure 6 ft. distance between individuals at all times, whether indoors or outdoors unless safety or core activity (e.g. practicing, playing) requires a shorter distance. If a shorter distance is required, individuals must wear face coverings, unless players are unable to tolerate such a covering for the physical activity (practicing, playing); provided, however, that coaches, trainers, and/or other individuals who are not directly engaged in an activity are required to wear face coverings.

We are going to do everything we can to keep everyone socially distanced. Inside these guidelines, there is some flexibility to not wear a mask during drills and playing. We do ask that everyone wears a mask when not on the field (from vehicle to check-in, from checkout to your vehicle, and during restroom visits) We understand the state is giving the parent flexibility with their child to wear a mask.

Registration volunteers will wear both masks and gloves as they check-in and out kids. We will space out the registration and have set lines with markers of 6 feet to comply with social distancing requirements. Each attendant will be the only person to use materials for their age group. We will also screen each participant with 4 screening questions.

(1) Any COVID-19 symptoms in the past 14 days?

(2) Any positive COVID-19 test in the past 14 days?

(3) Any close or proximate contact with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 case(s) in the past 14 days?

(4) Have you traveled to one of the NYS identified hot spots in the last 14 days?

We will ask for no more than 2 spectators for the soccer clinic to limit people at this event in compliance with NY State regulations.

We ask that no high fives, fist bumps, hugs, handshakes be given, or received during Soccer Clinic or Victory Night.

Ensure individuals not participating in sports or recreation activities (e.g. spectators) wear appropriate face coverings when they are within less than 6 ft. of other individuals unless a physical barrier is present.

We will have hand sanitizer stations at each field

We will ask that all spectators sit on the south side of your child's field. (with your back facing the building and front-facing the woods)

We will have a one-way enter and exit for the clinic and restrooms.

Conduct regular cleaning and disinfection and more frequent cleaning and disinfection of shared objects and surfaces. All used soccer balls will be gathered and sanitized each night. Bathrooms and walkways will be cleaned and sanitized each night.

Drive-Through Victory Night- Friday evening 6:00 pm- 7:30 pm

We will have a special drive-through celebration ceremony Friday evening from 6:00 pm- 7:30 pm. We will set up tables with labeled bags for your kids that contain their free t-shirt, trophy, and completion certificate. You can drive up, we will have volunteers announce the player's name present the bag to the player. All volunteers will be wearing masks and will sanitize between each bag.
