We are SO EXCITED we are doing "Puffs or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic" for
BCI's 6th Grade One Act Play! We cannot wait to be back in the theatre with you all! We are so thankful that we have the opportunity to put on a Spring Production! Thank you so much for sharing our excitement! Below is some information you will need about our production and its process! Break legs on your auditions! - Mr. Burke
When:
Auditions: Tuesday 12/12 3:15-4:15 in Mr. Burke's Room, There is nothing to prepare, we will be reading a monologue (not memorized, can pick up a copy outside of Mr. Burke's Room on Monday 12/11) and reading a few scenes from the show! (AFTER SCHOOL AUDITIONS ARE FOR NON-THEATRE STUDENTS ONLY. Theatre students will audition in class!)
Rehearsals: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 3:15-4:45pm, between the dates of January 5th - February 23rd (Not everyone will be called every rehearsal, as we get close to showtime, everyone will be called.)
Dress Rehearsals: February 26 - 28, 3:15-5:30pm
Performances: March 5 and 6 at 6:30pm in the GYM!
Casting: Casting will be announced on Monday 1/8 at 3:15 via email and outside Mr. Burke's room on the Call Board. This show will have understudies!
Where:
Rehearsals will be held on the Stage in the Big Gym or in the Theatre Room
**Students will need to be picked up on the WEST side of the building (The Car Loop) promptly after
Rehearsals have ended**
Criteria:
-Student must be in the 6th grade!
-Students must complete the Cast Form (Scheduling, Role Acceptance and "Contract") by Tuesday, December 12th at 5PM!
-There will not be a cast fee, but you will be responsible for purchasing a show shirt for your student (around $15) and acquiring their costume!
-Students must be able to be at ALL Performances in order to be cast. Have a great attitude, try your best and give us your all! You are sure to SHINE!!!
