TCDC 2020 Conference Keynote Proposal
Keynote Speaker for the 6th Annual Teachers College Doctoral Council Conference

The Teachers College Doctoral Council Conference is an annual conference dedicated to celebrating the research of doctoral students working in education and related fields.

We are seeking a graduate student in their last year (meaning they will defend their dissertation by the end of Summer 2020)  to offer the keynote presentation for this year’s conference. We would like this person to share their experiences about pursuing a doctoral degree, research, and the dissertation process. The goal of this keynote is to inspire other students to continue the tradition of excellence that you helped create.

To showcase our own students’ success, this keynote speaker will motivate the audience while drawing connections between their research, the mission of MLFTC, and their process of becoming an academic. Please note: the keynote session is not intended as a research session—you are invited and encouraged to submit a proposal for a research session during the conference to discuss your research in addition to presenting a keynote speech.

The 6th Annual Teachers College Doctoral Council Conference will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020. If you are interested in serving as the keynote speaker at the conference, please complete and submit this form by 11:59 pm on Sunday, December 15, 2019.
