Request for Palm Beach County School Board Recognition
The Superintendent and School Board are proud to recognize School District of Palm Beach County schools, departments, students, staff, and volunteers for specific, noteworthy achievements above and beyond regular duties and routine events.

Recognition is also granted to government entities, organizations, and business partners that have made significant, tangible contributions to the School District valued at $10,000 or more. Students and all associated personnel of private and charter schools are not eligible for Board recognition.

Although recognition is not guaranteed, an effort is made to accommodate requests. After a review of your request, the contact person you indicate on this document will be notified via email if the recognition has been approved, along with details about the Board Meeting.

REQUESTS FOR PALM BEACH COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD RECOGNITION MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN THREE WEEKS PRIOR TO THE BOARD MEETING DATE YOU WISH TO SELECT.

Please note that the availability of a particular date can close at any time if an excessive number of requests are received in advance. Board Meetings begin at 5 p.m.

Board recognition is not guaranteed. Making a submission only ensures that your request will be considered.

Recognitions must be approved by the Superintendent and Executive Cabinet. Recognitions can be approved or not approved at their sole discretion. If your recognition is not approved, that decision is final.

Check the spelling of names of all individuals, organizations etc. that you have provided on this document, to ensure accuracy. The Department of Communications is not responsible for misspellings or errors that result from incorrect information entered on this document.

Board recognition is strictly reserved for School District of Palm Beach County schools, departments, students, staff, and volunteers as well as government entities, organizations, and business partners that have made significant, tangible contributions to the School District.

Donations must be in the amount of $10,000 or more to be eligible for Board recognition.

Students and all associated personnel of private and charter schools are not eligible for Board recognition.

Arrangements should not be made to attend the Board Meeting until you receive confirmation in writing via email that your recognition has been approved.

The Preferred Board Meeting date that you request is not guaranteed. You may be asked to move your recognition to another date if the volume of requests for a particular date is excessive.

Board Meetings are structured in a way that does not allow time for speeches by those being recognized.
