Stories of Migration and Belonging Workshop

Share your personal migration journey through writing & discussion!

This 2-hour workshop begins with a warm welcome and icebreaker using visual prompts, followed by story mapping and guided writing exercises. Participants share in small groups, reflect on belonging today, and conclude with a closing circle to celebrate learning and connections. 

This workshop is limited to 15 participants.

Location: Visitor Experience Centre - 28 James St. N. (Lister Building at King William St.)

This workshop is great for people (16 years of age or older) with:

🌍 Lived experience of migration: This includes newcomers or long-term immigrants of any immigration status.

✍️ An interest in storytelling: This workshop is open to writers of ALL levels, including beginners!
