Nominate a Grandma for the Grandma Stand
Please fill out the form below and let me know why your grandma would be a good fit!

BACKGROUND: The Grandma Stand began in NYC in 2012 with Mike and his Grandma Eileen. Today, the stand expanded to new cities including Denver, CO, McKinney, TX, Larchmont, NY, and Omaha, NB.

However, if your grandma doesn't live in these areas, still fill this out in case we open up nearby. And, if you want to start a Grandma Stand
in your city, see our IG bio link for the form!

HOW IT WORKS: One the form is filled out, I'll be in touch via email or text to set up a time to chat. If things are a fit, then we'll schedule a day, time and location for the grandma to join the stand!

In general, the time commitment is around 2 hours. All they have to do is show up, take a seat, and anyone walking by sits down and responds to the question prompt written on sandwich boards. The grandmas are not therapists. In our experience, people are looking for a grandma who is present, listens and asks questions versus sharing advice or trying to solve their problems.

Also, someone is always near the Grandma Stand
to ensure safety, answer people's questions about the stand, and keep a steady flow of people taking a seat. So far, every grandma who's participated has wanted to return and do it again - it's been fulfilling for them as well as the people they meet.

Here is a news report from ABC NY that gives a sense of how it works. Look forward to meeting!
