Welcome students and families! WYO PLAY is excited to see you at auditions at the end of April at the WYO Performing Arts and Education Center. This year, we are encouraging students to come to different audition days based on their age - see below...

Friday, April 26 @ 4:30 - 6:30 PM - 2nd thru 5th Grade Students*
Saturday, April 27 @ 10 AM - 12:00 PM - 6th thru 9th Grade Students*

*Important Note: if a student is only available to audition during the opposite audition time from their assigned grade level, they may still come to the audition time when they are available! We will make it work if this is the only way a student can audition. 

Auditions will be held on the Main Stage - enter through the main lobby. *Earlier we said we would be in a different location. Please note the change.

For reference: Callbacks on Saturday, April 27 @ 4:00 - 6:00PM
Note: not everyone who gets cast will be asked to come to Callbacks. Students will be notified as soon as possible following their open audition on Fri or Sat.
 
Casting will not be announced right away on the same weekend, as with last year. Instead, cast members will be notified by mid week, around May 1st. 

No preparation is required to audition. Students will be called up to the stage in groups and asked individually to introduce themselves and sing Row Row Row Your Boat acapella. Then, we will teach everyone a few bars of vocals from one of the show songs, and each student will sing the song section with the music track.

(There are exceptions for families with more than one student in the cast AND scholarships will be available for anyone concerned about the cost.)
