Toni Morrison said, in an interview with Charlie Rose, that each of her novels was an exploration of a question or inquiry. For example, Paradise was an interrogation of the concept of paradise and an exploration of the idea that it is defined by the fact that many folx can't get in. While reading her work, if you've had the opportunity, what philosophical conflict surfaced? If you haven't had the opportunity, answer the same question about the work of your favorite author. *
