Ketrick.org Profile - "Career Accelerator Workshop for Veterans"

The Ketrick Communities “Career Accelerator Workshop Series” is designed for the U.S. Veteran Community. To apply for future acceptance in the next available cohort program, you must complete this Career Accelerator Workshop Attendee Profile here.

There is an existing gap in employment for those Veterans who have recently attended the baseline “Transition Assistance Program” (TAP) workshop. Perhaps you have an existing position and are now navigating new career opportunities within the commercial and private sector workplace. You may have already learned how to get organized, approach the job search process, write a resume and cover letter. You are now analyzing want ads, submitting applications online and even networking with others.

Have you landed your ideal career position yet? This career accelerator workshop is designed for those military Veterans who are currently seeking new opportunities in the work place and need to accelerate their progress.

The workshop will take place in two - 3 hour morning sessions (9AM - Noon), the second Tuesday and Wednesday of the month. The location will be in the Tysons Corner, VA area. The format will include a facilitated discussion, peer-to-peer networking with other Veterans. The dialogue will be centered upon content from a book written by author Marc A. Viola, a former Major in the U.S. Air Force and a current Intelligence Professional.

Each workshop cohort of a maximum of 12 participants will be comprised of Veterans who are now separated from the military and are actively searching for new employment in the National Capital Region (NCR). There is no fee to register, and there is no fee for the six hour workshop.

You must apply in advance and you will be notified of your acceptance into one of the upcoming scheduled cohorts.

The information provided will assist us in better understanding your current status and to make sure that your fellow attendees have complementary experience and background.

After you have completed the workshop attendee profile, you will be notified by our workshop facilitators 30 days in advance to confirm your attendance of the next scheduled cohort. At that time, we will confirm your participation and provide you information on the location and on how to acquire the book and what reading material to prepare in advance of the workshop.

If selected, attendees are required to purchase the workshop materials in advance in the amount of $31.00 for a Cloud Kindle Edition of Marc A. Viola’s book, “A Spy”s Resume”. This will allow you time to read the material in advance from any Internet connected device including, PC, Mac, Kindle, iPad, iPod, etc..

This workshop is sponsored by Ketrick.org.
