Neilson Park Creative Centre Black History Month Poetry Slam - Poet Registration - February 21, 2025

To celebrate Black History Month, Neilson Park Creative Centre is hosting their second annual poetry slam! 

We're looking for 8 Black identifying poets to perform for a chance to win a first place grand prize of $500. Second place wins $150 and third place wins $75

8 poets will compete in the first round and the 5 poets with the highest scores move onto the second round. 

Registering does not confirm your spot in the slam! You will be notified of your participation on Monday, February 17.
