Industry Connect at the MD&M Conference and Expo is a program for medical device researchers to test your ideas with technology decision makers, set up follow-on meetings, and acquire feedback on your best path forward. Priority will be given to Faculty, Post-Docs, or Graduate Researchers who have completed a local, regional, or national I-Corps program within the past 24 months.

Application Deadline: October 6
Pre-Conference Workshop: November 7, 2:30-5:30PM
Dinner and Panel Session: November 7, 5:30-7:30PM
Pitch and Networking Session: November 8, 5:00-7:30PM
Closing Session: November 9, 4:00-5:00PM
(Optional) Local Ecosystem Meetings: November 10, times as scheduled

Three roles comprise the teams for Industry Connect programs:
1. Technical Lead (TL)
Faculty or grad student researcher who has obtained or worked under the initial grant or other support that enabled the technology to advance.

2. Entrepreneurial Lead (EL)
A grad student or post-doc with relevant knowledge of the technology and a deep commitment to investigate the commercial landscape surrounding the innovation.

3. Industry Mentor (IM) – Optional, but strongly encouraged
An experienced entrepreneur with startup or other
experience in transitioning technology out of the lab and into the marketplace.
