The portable planetarium known as Starlab is used for this program. Topics include: star patterns and names, the solar system, constellations, Greek mythology, and Native American Storytelling.
School programs run from sixty to ninety minutes, depending on the grade level. Starlab accommodates roughly 25(K-3rd) or 20 (4th-6th) grade students. Larger groups can split in two. One group can be in the planetarium for 40 minutes, while the other does related activities in the museum. Then we switch stations. StarLab depends on equipment availability. An alternate topic may be offered. The cost is $4 per person.
