OutlierHQ is hosting the Outlier Podcast Festival in three different cities in 2020 and we would love to hear from you. Speaker submissions are now open for all three festivals.

We have a few different speaking opportunities.

1) Keynote Speaker - A 30 minute presentation with 10 minutes of Q&A on the main stage.

2) Workshop - 30 minutes in one of our break-out rooms.

3) Panel - moderating a panel discussion with 3-4 panelists on a specific topic.

4) Live Show - 45 minutes on the main stage. Record an episode in front of a live studio audience.  

5) We’re also open to other suggestions. What else do you want to do at the festival? Pitch us on any new ideas.

No deadline. Our committee will be reviewing applications until all of the spots are full for all three events. We suggest you send them in sooner than later.

We’ll be notifying the individuals selected to speak with plenty of time to prepare for the festival.

SPEAKER OBLIGATIONS:

1) In addition to speaking, we ask that you attend most of the festival and mingle with our attendees, other speakers, and sponsors. We pride ourselves on creating an open and inviting atmosphere for all.

SPEAKER TRAVEL AND COMPENSATION:

1) This is not a paying gig. Speakers are responsible for booking their own travel and accommodations.

2. Speakers will receive a complimentary pass for OPF and a +1 for a spouse, partner, or friend. Other friends and family pass requests will be reviewed on an individual basis.

OTHER CONDITIONS:

1) No blatant selling from the stage. We want you to be successful and have individuals buy your products and/or services but that should happen off stage.

2) If you have controversial thoughts or opinions regarding the podcasting industry we welcome the discussion. We ask that the discussion be done in a calm and respectful manner.
