Regularly monitor job boards, social networks and talent platforms to source potential.
Filter applications and ensure minimum requirements are met (develop these).
Create a “talent pool” database and system for future needs.
Perform interviews, assessments and reference checks.
Plan, implement, manage and promote employee referrals programs.
Use and research applicant tracking/recruitment systems.
Leadership and Management: Onboarding - Ensure new team members are set up for success and fully integrated
Talent Repository/Library – Maintain and improve this for optimal retrieval
Recognition – Birthdays, Anniversaries and milestones
Incentives – Monitor these
Internal Surveys and needs analysis
Monitor – KPIs, performance, compliance
Performance Reviews
Training and Development – Identify needs and how to fill these
Host Team meetings and Training
Communication – Be the point of contact for the team
Company Culture – Maintain this alongside fulfilment and engagement
Disciplinary Procedures when required
Off-boarding Procedures and talent departure analysis
Administration: Creating and documenting processes
Database building
Research (eg. Staffing trends and software)
Compiling reports and presentations (e.g. Acquisition metrics on a monthly basis)
Record keeping and “paperwork” pertaining to team members

Mandatory Requirements: Access to consistent high-speed internet
Own reliable computer with updated software
Proficient in Microsoft office
Tech-savvy and able to adapt to new software and applications quickly
Familiarity with cloud or online/remote tools such as Asana and Google Workspace
Excellent English Communication – written and verbal
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy etc)

Complete high school diploma / A-levels / matric / Grade 12
