DISCO RIOT believes that we thrive in intentional community with one another. We hear your request for more opportunities to network, audition, and build work, so we're offering "Free Range Cattle Call"! Finding folks to make dance with, making new work, and securing ways to share it can come with a lot of baggage (for everyone involved), so we're keeping it real and keeping it light; this "Cattle Call" is a casting and sharing event with the intention of highlighting creative projects in the community and encouraging connections/collaborations between local artists.
When: Saturday, July 1st, 4pm - 8pm

The Event
4pm: Check-in time. Arrive early to help us stay organized and running smoothly!
4:30pm-6:30pm: We will dance and move together, lead by choreographers/dance-makers from our San Diego dance community. Folks who are interested in connecting for projects, both makers and movers, can share what they're about in movement during this portion!
6:30pm-8pm: Time to chat, mingle, get to know folks, talk more about your interests and projects with one another. Some light snacks will be available at this time.
How To Participate
The registration form below is still open for anyone who is interested in being casted as a performer or simply (re)connecting and moving with fellow friends of dance in San Diego.
Registration deadline for choreographers/teachers and the work in progress showing is June 9th.
Registration for all other participants is June 30th, or when we reach capacity (50 participants).
