The city is planning major development in our neighborhood. Formerly called OneLIC, it's been renamed to "Long Island City Neighborhood Plan." But is this plan truly by and for the LIC neighborhood? This plan would change what kinds of housing is allowed to be built, and could impact community infrastructure like parks, our sewer system, transportation, and manufacturing areas. We are a coalition of community residents who want to make sure our voices are heard in this planning process.
